A moment or two after witching hour...
On our final full day of the vacation, the five of us decided to take a trip back to the Miromar Outlet Mall to spend some of our remaining dollars. The day proved to be one of the hottest days of our trip, and we managed to catch some of the rays walking around the outdoor mall.
Eunice & Lou went on their merry way, whilst Steven, Lucy & I visited stores such as Nike, Timberland, Ralph Lauren and Gap. Following the purchase of winter jackets, trainers and several shirts, we finished up and drove back over to the Tanger Outlets for further purchases.
An hour later we were heading back to Cape Coral for a late lunch at Rumrunners. The food, as had been on the previous two occasions was delightful, and we shall certainly make the effort to return there for a meal of some kind next year.
We made the short drive around the corner to our villa, where we enjoyed one last swim in the pool, before changing for a night out over on Pine Island. During our boat trip on Wednesday, Captain Bob had informed us that he played in a band, and that they were performing on Friday evening at his local drinking hole, Bert's Bar & Grille.
The short drive over took only 15 minutes and we parked outside the bar in front of a sign marked 'Bert's Parking' (the five of us chuckled at thoughts of being asked to move the vehicle later in the evening by Bert himself!). As we walked into the bar for the first time, we were met by a number of gazes from the turned heads of locals sat at the bar, and we wandered through to find an appropriate table to sit at to order our meals.
Shortly after sitting down, the three band members took their place at the front of the room, and sure enough, there was Captain Bob preparing to pluck away at his bass guitar!

Lovely Hooters at Fort Myers Beach...
We were up and out of the villa at 9:30am this morning for a meeting with a man by the name of Dale. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss options for Lucy & my wedding, which we plan to hold this time next year.
We arrived at the home of Dale at 10:00am (coincidentally a stones throw away from the villa we stayed at last year), and by 10:40am we had handed over a $300 deposit to secure the date of Thursday 19th November 2009.
After the meeting we drove over to Fort Myers Beach ready for lunch, which we decided to have at Hooters.
